Exploring therapy is a powerful step toward transformation, and I can appreciate the many emotions that go along with initiating this journey.
Having moved through adversity and my own personal challenges, I’ve developed a deep sense of self-compassion and empathy for others. In our work together, I aim to help you uncover and integrate the different layers of your being, and help you develop a deeper understanding of how these layers influence your life.
Through psychedelic-assisted therapy, we can explore the unconscious patterns that may be holding you back, with the intention of fostering deeper self-awareness, self-compassion, and emotional liberation. I bring lightness and humour to the process, creating a compassionate and non-judgmental space where we can approach even the heaviest of concerns with hope and acceptance.
I bring together my psychedelic-assisted therapy work with other therapeutic modalities, in an approach that is integrative and holistic. I combine modalities such as Internal Family Systems (IFS), EMDR, somatic practices, and vagus nerve interventions. In my work, I also use Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), as therapeutic interweaves. I believe there is a universe within us all, and therefore your therapeutic path will be catered to the universe inside of you.
My path to becoming a therapist has been unconventional. Having grown up in a family that moved a great deal, I’ve learned to thrive in uncertainty and see the boundless, diverse, potential within each person. Starting my academic career in fine arts and later anthropology, I spent over a decade working in the environmental sector before completing my Master’s in Counselling Psychology. This journey has shaped my understanding of the human experience, which I now integrate into my work to help clients achieve their own profound insights and meaningful life changes.
I look forward to supporting you in a safe, creative space where you can explore your inner world, fostering transformation, and growth.

Katie at Home
I’m a proud stepmother to three wonderful girls. When I’m not working, you’ll likely find me outdoors—whether it’s kayaking, hiking, practicing Muay Thai or yoga, snapping outdoor photos, or fueling my creativity and love for adventure. I take an existential approach to life and relish deep, philosophical conversations with friends or even new acquaintances. I believe life flows between moments of joy, gratitude, and challenge, and each day I strive to focus on life’s positives.
