Emily Schorr
Registered Provisional Psychologist
Emily is deeply committed to helping individuals uncover their inner strengths and embrace transformative growth. Her approach to therapy is both warm and dynamic, blending evidence-based techniques with genuine empathy to create a safe, nurturing space for exploration and healing. Recognizing that every client’s story is unique, Emily tailors each session to honour individuality, ensuring that clients feel seen, heard, and supported.
Before stepping into the role of a counsellor, Emily spent years immersed in research, which honed a passion for evidence-based practices and lifelong learning. This foundation fuels her work today, as she continually seeks cutting-edge tools and insights to better serve clients.
One of the most exciting aspects of Emily’s practice is the integration of psychedelic-assisted therapy, a groundbreaking modality that opens doors to profound healing and self-discovery. By safely navigating altered states of consciousness, clients can unlock buried insights, process past traumas, and view their lives through a fresh lens. This innovative approach, paired with traditional therapy, allows for deep, holistic transformation—helping clients not only heal but thrive.
Emily is passionate about creating an inclusive, non-judgmental space where every individual feels empowered to explore their emotions, relationships, and aspirations. Whether clients are navigating life’s challenges, seeking deeper meaning, or ready to embrace change, she is there to guide and walk alongside them. Together, you’ll embark on a journey of self-discovery, healing, and growth, unlocking your full potential and paving the way for a brighter, more fulfilling future.

Emily at Home
Having lived, worked, and traveled to various places, Emily was drawn back to Calgary by a deep love for the mountains and the great outdoors. Passionate about embracing nature, she enjoys hiking, cycling, paddleboarding, cross-country skiing, snowboarding, and, more recently, golfing—though she modestly admits her enthusiasm often outweighs her skill. When not exploring the outdoors, Emily can often be found cozying up by the fireplace with a book and a cup of tea, ideally accompanied by a cat on her lap and a dog at their feet
